Rolex Oyster, "Atlete", Ref. 4127. Produced circa 1943.Fine and very rare, center-second, self-winding, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch.

C. "Empire", two-body, polished, screwed-down case back and crown, thick polished band, straight lugs. D. matte silver with radium-coated Arabic numerals and indexes. "Skeleton" radium-coated steel hands. M. 9 3/4''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Superbalance balance, 2 adjustments, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Engraved on the case back: "MAPPIN" and the numbers.
