Rolex Cosmograph "Daytona", so-called "Paul Newman", Ref. 6239 with steel bezel and exotic dial. Produced in the 1970's.Fine water resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tachometer with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet.

C. three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, tachometer graduation on the bezel to 300 units per hour. D. bicolor matte silver and black with applied steel indexes and tritium dots, auxiliary "guilloché" sunk dials for the seconds, the minute and 12 hour-registers, outer 1/5th second scale in red indexes. "Bâton" tritium-coated steel hands. M. 13''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 3 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensang Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 37 mm. Approx. overall length 195 mm.

Ref. 6239 - 6241.Produced from 1961 to 1976, the first examples with exotic dial, the so-called "Paul Newman" model, came on the market around 1970.
