C .three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, graduated revolving bezel in Arabic numerals for the decompression times. D. black with radium-coated bâton, triangular and dot indexes. "Skeleton" radium-coated hands. M. Cal. 030, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 38 mm.

Notes

This watch is the third version of the "Submariner" watch with indication of the water-tightness, 100m/330ft but it did not yet have the crown-guard case. The first version launched in 1953 without the crown-guard case, did not indicate the waterproof depth and did not have Mercedes hands.
