Rolex Cosmograph, Ref. 6239, made for the Peruvian Air Forces. Produced from 1961 to 1976. Very fine, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, steel bezel with tachometer and a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet. Accompanied by an additional satiné silver dial with black auxiliary dials, signed "Rolex Cosmograph Daytona".

C. three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, tachometer graduation on the bezel to 300 units per hour. D. bicolor black and matte silver with applied steel tritium-coated indexes, auxiliary"guilloché" dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Tritium-coated steel "Bâton" hands.M. Cal. 728, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to threepositions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case, and movement signed.Diam. 37 mm.Approx. overall length 205 mm.Engraved on the case back: "Fuerza Aerea del Perù".

Ref. 6239.9.Produced from 1961 to 1976. The first examples with the exotic dial, the so-called "Paul ewman" model, came on the market around 1970.
