Notes

A similar watch is mentioned in "Collecting Rolex Wristwatches", by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido Mondani Editore, Genova 2001, p. 297. Reference 5510 is the rarest of all Submariner references. Antiquorum has not offered an example of this reference for sale in over a decade. In addition, the present watch is new-old stock.
