Phil Mickelson was considered to be the world?s best golf player, who never won the Masters Tournament until his Augusta National victory in April 2004. Born in San Diego, California on June 16, 1970, he played golf already at a very early age of 4 and went professional at age 12. Today he is undisputedly one of the world?s top golf players, ranking No. 1 on the Money List. Christy Erb Born also in San Diego on Sept. 28, 1970, Christy Erb turned professional at age 23. By that time the former Junior World Champion in the Boys and Girls 9 ? 10 Division (1981) had already won the 1990 Golf World Invitational and finished second at the NCAA Championship in 1991. She qualified on her 5th attempt for the LPGA Tour.
