Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Day-Date" Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, Ref. 18048. Produced in the 1970s. Very fine center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, tonneau-shaped, 18K yellow gold and diamond gentleman's wristwatch with day and date, an 18K yellow gold President bracelet set with 50 large round diamonds on the semi- circular external links with a total diamond weight of approx. 9 cts, 23 baguette-cut diamonds on the central links, and an 18K pink gold Rolex deployant clasp.
C. three-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, white gold bezel set with 45 round diamonds with a total diamond weight of approx. 9,0 cts., sapphire crystal with "Cyclops" lens. D. champagne, entirely pavé-set with diamonds and baguette and round sapphire indexes, apertures for the date and the day. Black "Bâton" hands. M. Cal. 3055, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatues and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Crystal, case and movement signed.Diam. 36 mm.
