So-called "James Bond" Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Submariner, "100 = 330" in red writing, Ref. 6536/1, third version. Produced circa 1955 Fine and very rare, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with black bezel, bearing Australian import marks.

Cal. 1030, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 38 mm. This model is the third version of the "Submariner" watch with indication of the water-tightness, 100m = 330ft, but it did not yet have the crown-guard case. The first version launched in 1953 without the crown-guard case, did not indicate the waterproof depth and did not have Mercedes hands.
