So-called "Pre-Daytona" Rolex Chronograph, Ref. 6238. Produced circa 1965. Fine tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman?s wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer and a stainless steel Oyster bracelet.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. D. Satiné silver with tritium-coated applied steel indexes, sunk subsidiary "guilloché" dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer tachometer graduation. Tritium-coated steel "Bâton" hands. M. Cal. 13''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, 3 adjustments, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case, and movement signed.Diam. 35 mm.
