So-called "James Bond" Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, Submariner "200 m=660 ft", Ref. 5510. Produced in the first quarter of 1958; This reference was in production for only approximately 1 year. Fine and very rare, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown (8 mm), graduated bi-directional revolving black bezel for the decompression times. D. Black with tritium-coated triangular, round and bâton indexes. Tritium-coated "skeleton" hands. M. Cal. 1530, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 38 mm.
