So-called "Paul Newman" Rolex, Cosmograph "Daytona", Ref. 6239 with steel bezel. Made circa 1966. Very fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel gentle-man's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tachometer, and a stainless steel Rolex Oyster expand-able bracelet.

Cal. 722 - 1, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight linelever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to three posi-tions,shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring,Microstella regulating screws.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 36 mm.
