Notes

Besides their shape, most Prince models differ from other watches of this period by their duo-dial design, hours on the top and seconds at the bottom. Due to this peculiarity these watches were called Doctor's Watches, meaning watches for professionals who need direct access to the seconds function, for example, to check someone's pulse. A similar watch is published in Rolex Collezionare Orologi da Polso, 1998 Edition, by Osvaldo PATRtzzt, Guido Mondani Editore, Genova, p. 31.
