Rolex, Perpetual, Certified Chronometer, Ref. 4643, 1940's. Fine and rare self-winding, "carre galbe", 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with 18K gold bracelet "a grosses mailles " and 18Kyellow gold Rolex deployant clasp.

M. 9 3 /4 "' rhodium plated, "fausses cotes " decoration, 19 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 28 x 28 mm.

Ref. 4643 This reference was produced by Rolex from 1946 to 1952 and, with the Ref. 4645 (30 x 30 mm) it was the non-Oyster watch fitted with the new self-winding perpetual movement.
