Notes

This reference of Date, just model is extremely rare considering its black original dial. Ref. 4467 In 1945, Rolex launched the model Date-Just, the first watch with the date appearing in an aperture on the dial, with waterresistant case and self-winding movement, and bearing an official certificate of chronometer. This watch by Rolex soon became number one on the worldwide market. A similar watch is published in Collezionare Orologi da Polso Rolex, 1998 Edition, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido Mondani Editore Genova, p. 184.
