Notes

A similar watch is published in Collezionare Orologi da Poise Rolex, 1998 Edition, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido Mondani Editore Genova, p. 249. Engraved on the back: "D.C. - Fuerza Aerea del Peru". The GMT-Master was created for aviators and great travellers, It is the official watch of the Pan American World Airways and indicates contemporaneously two different time zones by means of the graduated revolving bezel and the special hand for the 24 hours. The reference 1675 was launched on the market in 1960 and made in 18K gold and in stainless steel. The steel series bears the crown-guard system. At the beginning of the 1970's, this model was also produced in rolesor (steel and gold).
