Fine and rare, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with red Crest of Oman, date and a stainless steel Rolex "Fliplock" Oyster bracelet. Accompanied by the original fitted box.

D. Black with tritium-coated round, triangular and bâton indexes, aperture forthe date. Tritium coated steel "skeleton" hands. M. Cal. 1570,rhodium-plated, "oeil-de-perdrix" decoration, 26 jewels, straightlinelever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperaturesand 5 positions, self-compensating freesprungBreguet balance-spring, Microstella regulating screws, hackmechanism.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 40 mm. In the early 1970s, the Sultan of Oman ordered a small series of Rolex Submariner in stainless steel and in gold cases. The watches in steel cases were destined for use by the Omani military; the ones in gold cases were given to State visitors. On both types of watches, the usual Submariner 660 ft/200 m. inscription was replaced by the Omani crest.
