Rolex, 1950's. A unusual painted metal and glass double face public clock designed as a neon shop sign, driven by an electromagnetic wall regulator. The wall regulator.
C. Rectangular, the painted glass face applied with the Rolex crown. D. Silvered, brushed with painted black indexes. Black painted hands. M. Electromagnetic controlled by a Invar-Elinvar pendulum with spring suspension. Signed on the dial. Dim. 70 x 31 x 17,5 cm. The shop neon sign. C. Designed as a street lamp with dial on front and back, the Rolex crown on the side panels, it is fitted on a rectangular light box marked "ROLEX". Gilt ball at the top. D. Front and back of white painted glass with applied polished indexes, the Rolex crown in place of chapter "12". M. Activated by the wall regulator, the single electromechanical mechanism drives the hands both on the front and the back dials. Dim. 91 x 56 x 110, including the light box.
