Rolex Oyster Chronometer, "Rigid Hooded", Ref. 3801, 1940's. Very fine and rare, tonneau shaped, self-winding, waterproof, pink gold and stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch.

C. bi-colour, polished, pink gold hooded fluted lugs and bezel, screwed dedicated back and crown. D. matt silver and gold with painted Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds dial. "Skeleton" radiumed hands. M. 9 3/4"' rhodium plated, 19 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Diam. 29 mm.
