So-called ?Pre-Daytona? Rolex, "Oyster Chronograph, Antimagnetic", Ref. 6234. Produced in the late 1940s. Fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer, telemeter and a stainless steel Rolex buckle.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. D. Matte silver with applied steel dart indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30- minute registers, outer tachometer graduation, inner telemeter graduation. Tritium-coated steel "bâton" hands. M. Cal. 72, rhodium- plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 3 positions, shock absorber, selfcompensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness: 14 mm.
