ROLEX ZEPHYR 14K, ORIGINAL WARRANTY AND COSC Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified," case No. 886179, Ref. 1008. Sold on January 27th, 1968. Fine, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 14K yellow gold wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Rolex Oyster riveted bracelet. Accompanied by the original warranty, COSC, bill of sale for the watch and the 18k gold bracelet, and two vintage advertisements for the Rolex Zephyr model.

Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, yellow gold reeded and graduated bezel. Satine silver with 2 perpendicular-painted lines for 3, 6, 9 and 12, luminous dots. Luminous yellow gold baton hands. Cal. 1560, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperature and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws.

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 34 mm. THICKNESS 12 mm. Approx. Overall length 200 mm. Conserved in close to new condition, the watch has survived with all its original documentation. It is interesting to note that the client ordered at the same time the beautiful 18k gold Rolex bracelet that has also remained in close to perfect condition. It is only the second 14k gold reference 1008 to appear at Antiquorum and the first with all its papers.
