Upon close inspection one can notice the dial is signed "DEVELOPMENT" and the case number is also stamped inside the caseback. The serial number places the watch at the begginning of the production of the Zephyr reference 1038 and it is likely that this watch was a test pre-production version. It is the first time we have seen this version on the market.
