Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 40 mm. THICKNESS 13 mm. Rolex has always paid close attention to the precision of its movements and Rolex has often been at the top of the table in terms of numbers of watches that gained a COSC certificate. In 2013, Rolex hit an unprecedented 800'000 watches that passed the test. As it was always the case until recently only the movements were rated so they had to be removed from their case to be tested. As readability is not a factor, Rolex mounted internal dials, never meant for sale that were devoid of any indexes. These are always removed and replaced before being commercialised. A great opportunity to purchase a test dial that confers to the watch a clean and unique look.
