Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 40 mm. THICKNESS 13 mm. Approx. overall length 190 mm. According to our research, it appears a small series of orange dials were commissioned to Rolex for a celebration of the Dutch socer team . It appears that the left-over dials were then cased and sold to some dealers that had a demand for such watches, it appears mostly to the Italian market. It is the first time this orange dial configuration has appeared at auction, two other examples are known on the market.
