In 2012, Rolex introduced the first Rainbow Daytona in yellow gold and white gold with beautiful rainbow colored sapphire set bezel, 36 multi-colored baguette-cut sapphires, forming a rainbow pattern of reds, oranges, yellows, greens, limes, blues and purples. Due to the high standard on the quality of the appropriate color sapphires and the skillful craftsmanship for the setting stones, only very low quantities have been released and are now discontinued. Only took 6 years, this model become one of the most sought-after and collectable items to the Rolex collectors
