A fine and extremely rare, 18K white gold, self-winding wristwatch with a bezel set with 36 rainbow-coloured sapphire baguettes and white diamonds adorning the lugs and indexes. This timepiece features a round-button chronograph register. Fresh to the market, never offered at auction, consigned by the original owner’s family.

The Rolex Rainbow Daytona stands as an iconic and highly coveted timepiece, representing a fusion of horology and gemstone artistry. Launched in 2012, this exclusive collection initially featured two models: Yellow Gold (Ref. 116598RBOW) and White Gold (Ref. 116599RBOW), which were produced until 2016. In 2018, Rolex added an Everose gold version (Ref. 116595RBOW) to the lineup.

Limited production makes this a true collector’s dream. The discontinuation of the models has contributed to their increased value in the secondary market. Collectors and enthusiasts particularly prize these earlier versions for their rarity and historical significance within the Rainbow Daytona line.

The presented exceptional example was purchased new by the original owner in September 2012 from the official Rolex retailer Precision Watch Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong. The owner has meticulously cared for this timepiece, ensuring it remains in its original condition, with untouched crisp edges and sharp lugs, preserving its pristine state. It comes complete with the original box, guarantee card, all accessories, and the original sales invoice, further attesting to the owner’s careful stewardship and the watch’s authenticity.
