ROLEX, REF. 1490, 1/4 CENTURY CLUB Rolex, "Prince Brancard", Eaton "1/4 Century Club", case No. 284786, Ref. 1490. Made circa 1945 for presentation to an employee of the T. Eaton Co., for 25 years of continuous service. Very fine and rare, flared, rectangular, curved, 14K yellow gold wristwatch with a gold-plated Rolex buckle.

Two-body, solid, polished, snap-on case back engraved "Presented to Walter Earnshaw to mark a quarter century of continuous service with T. Eaton Knitting C., Ltd, and T. Eaton C., Ltd 1920 - 1945", flared sides, curved lugs. Two-tone silver with the champlevé letters "1/4 Century Club" instead of numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, inner minute track. Blued steel hands. 7 1/2''', rhodium-plated, "Prima", 17 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bi-metallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
