Rolex introduced the Datejust, in 1945, for the company’s 40th anniversary. The Datejust, thanks to its aesthetics and functions, transcends changes in fashion. A prestigious watch, the Datejust was born equipped with a Jubilee bracelet created especially for it and a reeded bezel, as is the case on this later model that we are presenting. Rolex has experimented with many different hard stones such as mother of pearl, coral, onyx, tiger's eye and lapis lazuli. Due to their fragility and high manufacturing cost, with a large percentage of dials breaking during the production process, these watches are highly sought after.
