ROLEX REF 16200 DATEJUST MODIFIED WITH MOON PHASES FUNCTION STEEL Rolex "Oyster Perpetual, Datejust," Ref. 16200. Made in 2003. Very fine, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel Chronometer wristwatch with date, moon phases and a stainless steel Rolex deployant clasp.

Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, moon corrector on the band at 8, inclined bezel, sapphire crystal with cyclops lens. Ivory color Jubilee (Rolex decoration) with applied radial white gold Arabic numerals, apertures for the date and the moon phases. White gold baton hands. Cal. 3135, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 31 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, shock absorber, free- sprung self-compensating Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, hack mechanism.

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 36 mm. THICKNESS 12 mm. MARCELLO COMEZZI is a well known watchmaker in Rome, Italy. He was commissioned to modify the present Rolex DateJust Ref. 16200, adding the moon phases function. The caliber 3135 was modified by adding a plate on the dial side, milled with a numeric control machine to a THICKNESS of 0.5 mm. To this are added the necessary spaces to house the moon phases, levers, springs and gears. The phase disk is enameled. PLEASE NOTE that aftermarekt additions void the warranty of new and used Rolex watches. Rolex will not warranty and/or service these watches.
