Produced from 1988 to 2000, Ref. 16520 Daytona is the first automatic chronograph manufactured by Rolex. Its calibre was modified base on the Zenith El Primero, a calibre known for its reliability and stability. The current example was produced around 2000. It features solid end links (inste- ad of hollow end links in earlier production) and in a nice new old stock condition, which makes it a highly collectible piece.
