Notes

The regular production 16520 is already a classic to collectors due to its famous El Primero (Zenith) caliber used on this reference as well as early dial variations such as floating or porcelain dials that are already very desired by enthusiasts. This version is even rarer as it features an Arabic or Racing numeral dial rather than the classic baton indexes. Not to be confused with the two-tone or the white gold version that feature an outer ring on the sub-dial that is either gold or silver, this dial has a black ring probably indicating that this was either a test dial or made in a very small batch upon request. There have only ever been 2 other similar steel 16520 with Arabic dials that have appeared at auction see: Antiquorum, New York, December 112008, Lot 522 and Christies, Geneva, May 16, 2001, Lot 402.
