Notes

Initially made for the speleologists to differentiate between night and day in tremendous caving expeditions, the Rolex Explorer II ref. 1655 has been produced from 1971 to 1984. Created in 1982, this wristwatch is one of the last generation of this ref. 1655, with a dial Mark 5. It is nicknamed “Freccione” from Freccia, meaning arrow, due to the shape of the central orange 24h indicator.
