ROLEX REF. 1655 EXPLORER II STEVE MCQUEEN ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE STEEL Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual Date, Explorer II, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified", case No. 3585208, Ref. 1655. Sold on November 2nd, 1982. Very fine and rare, center seconds, self-winding, water- resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with date, special 24-hour bezel, large orange arrow 24-hour hand and a stainless steel Rolex Oyster Ref. 78360 bracelet with deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original punched warranty, Explorer booklet and a Rolex Geneva service invoice and service card in the amount of CHF 2'043 dated September 2011.

Three-body, polished and brushed, graduated 24-hour bezel, screwed-down case back and protected crown, crystal with Cyclops lens. Black with luminous baton indexes, outer minutes/ seconds divisions, aperture for the date. Luminous white baton hands, large luminous orange arrow to indicate the diurnal and nocturnal hours on the 24-hour graduated bezel. Cal. 1570, rhodium-plated, 26 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, hack mechanism.
