Notes

The Mark V Explorer 2 marks the final run of the so called "Steve McQueen Explorer". First produced with a straight hand up to serial 3.5 million, it was then replaced with a lollipop hand until its end of production around 1984. This watch was sold in Santa Barbara in July 1983 so is part of the last series of 1655. Its case is in excellent condition still showing its original bevels and comes with its original box and punched warranty, its dial and hands have aged to a wonderful orange patina making this an excellent last series example.
