Originally sold at the A. Fischer & Co., official Rolex retailer in Port Elizabeth South Africa (they were jewellers and watchmakers since 1862), this iconic Rolex double red Seadweller was invoiced in April 1976 as per the date of the sale on the punched warranty as well as Fischer's three year warranty with matching numbers. Apart from an overhaul receipt at the same store dated 1987 and a further service by Rolex Geneva in 1996, the watch has remained in all original condition. Its case has been well preserved still showing nice definition, but more importantly its dial is in very good condition exhibiting a nice warm patina to the indexes. A great original example of the iconic Seadweller accompanied by its original documentation.
