Notes

Consigned by the original Portuguese owner this double red Seadwellers is part of the second series characterised by its thin case and its dial featuring the flat Rolex crown logo and its touching DW in the Seadweller writing. The watch is further distinguished by having a beautiful uniform colorchange brown dial featuring the extremely rare Portuguese hallmark on the lug (the watch was sold in Lisbonne in 1975) and complete with its original punched warranty papers and documentation. Stamped inside the caseback with the last 3 digit numbers and the caseback punched with the IV.67, the watch was only sold in 1975 at Torres indicating that some of these early Seadwellers took years to sell after their initial production. Featuring perfectly matching patina to the dial and the hands and accompanied with its original box and papers, a great collectors example probably amongst the last series of the thin case production.
