In 1989, Rolex launched the GMT MASTER II reference 16710, in order to replace the reference 16760. The two-tone yellow-gold and stainless steel version is the reference 16713. It is powered by the 3185 caliber, with a sapphire glass and a solid black bezel. The present example date back to 1992, meaning it is one of the last Rolex GMT with tritium lumes on the dial. The reference 16713 remained in production until 2007.
