The present GMT has a stunning brown
soleil nipple dial, striking under the
sunlight. Instantly recognisable for its
colorful bezel, the history of the Rolex GMT
starts in the 50s when, in North America there
was an increasing number of transatlantic
flights. During that time, the Pan-American
airlines was looking for an extremely reliable
tool watch that would allow its pilots to keep
track of two different time zones in a clear
and easy way.
