Between the 1970 and 1980 some Rolex were sold to diplomats and local governors of the seven United Arab Emirates member states, the one displayed here has the signature of the General Hafez Al-Assad. Similar examples are also found on references 1680, 1665. This 1675 has been well conserved with nice thick lugs, a beautiful beige patina to the hands and indexes and a clear crisp red Assad signature, one of the rarest Middle East sport Rolexes.
