Notes

Property of the original British pilot It would seem appropriate that pilots themselves would wear the famous GMT-Master as it was initially marketed towards them as seen in early Rolex ads featuring the Pan-Am airline. Meticulous as one would expect, the watch has retained its original punched warranty, the original purchase receipt, business card from the store vendor, 4 different service receipts, calendar card and hang tag. In his own words from the original owner: "Now retired, I was an airline captain flying worldwide routes. Whilst in transit in Hong Kong, in December 1977, I bought myself this Rolex GMT Master 1675 and it has been on my wrist, trouble free and reliable ever since. I found the GMT function most useful, especially when crossing multi time zones, never more so than when, as a captain on the Boeing 747-400 with Singapore Airlines, I was continually flying their extensive, global route structure. The watch has flown with me around the world for more than 8'000'000 miles".
