Sold around 1965, this GMT was sold at Joyeria La Esmeralda in Venezuela, which was a branch of the famous Mexican retailer, which explains the rare Rolex bracelet made for the South American Market stamped “Hecho En Mexico”. Part of the last series of gilt dials, the dial has started to turn to a nice tropical brown color with matching lume on the indexes and hands. It is extremely rare to find these watches still accompanied by its original typed warranty and its chronometer rating certificate.
