The Rolex 1680 launched from late 1960 to 1980. This is the first submariner indicates the date with the cyclops magnifier. Different with 5513, 1680 were using calibre 1575 instead of 1570. One of the collectors favor, the early ‘RED Submariner’ produced until 1974 with the serial number around 4.2mil. It were produced at least 6 interface from MK 1 to MK 6 which slightly different between the positioning and the font. Since this model 1680, all the submariners are attached with SCOC. The present Rolex 1680 single red remains in beautiful condition bear with original tritium MK 5 dial, both hands and indexes all in matching cream patina. The case in lovely condition fitted with its original bezel and original 9315 bracelet with 380 end links. Furthermore, it accompanied by Rolex original box, original punch certificate and accessories
