Biography

There is a lot of discussions among the Rolex enthusiasts about the origin of the nickname "Stella".
Some of them argue that the dial shades the artwork of Frank Stella, while some others assert that the Italian market invented this "Stella" appelation because of their brilliant, “star-like” character. We have here one of the most interesting expression among the different versions of that specific and rare type of dials: the blue "Stella" with 8 brilliant-cut diamonds and 2 baguette-cut at 6 and 6 o'clock. Nothing compares to that perfect choice of blue, absolutely bright and flawless, a deeply desirable piece in many ways.
