Following the introduction of the most iconic Rolex watch ever in 1956 with the reference 6510 and 6511, the Day-Date updated model known as the 1803 was introduced in 1959. This example is a rare example of a very early 1803, much rarer in its pink gold configuration, features Alpha hands, the correct smaller reeded bezel and the butterfly rotor powering the caliber 1555.
