ROLEX REF 1803 BURGUNDY DIAMOND DIAL PINK GOLD Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Day-Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified," case No. 1858227, Ref. 1803. Made in 1968. Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self- winding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold Chronometer wristwatch with day and date and a 14K yellow gold Rolex buckle.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, fluted bezel, screwed down case back and crown, crystal with cyclops lens. Burgundy with 8 round and 2 baguette diamond indexes and luminous dots, outer minutes/seconds track, apertures for the day and date. Luminous pink gold baton hands. Cal.1556, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 26 jewels, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and five positions, straight-line lever escapement, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws.
