Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 36 mm. THICKNESS 13 mm. Approx. overall length 195 mm. With striking black onyx dial, this watch is certainly one of the most eye-catching examples of the Tridor model to appear at auction. In excellent overall condition, it is sold with the original Rolex box and guarantee confirming the sale of the watch by Gobbi, Milan in December 1986. Ref . 18039B was produced for only three years, from 1985-1988. These watches had twotone gold cases and the "Tridor" bracelet. Tridor is Rolex's trademark for their system of bonding three colors of gold in stripes for use in bracelets.
