Notes

Property of an Important Collector Family

The Rolex Ref 18349 is one of the rarest variants in the entire Rolex Day-Date lineup. While Rolex almost exclusively produced Day-Date President models in a single gold color or the famous Tridor (three-tone gold), this reference is widely recognized by collectors and experts as the only two-tone Day-Date Rolex ever produced. It features an 18K white gold case with a diamond-set yellow gold bezel, paired with a unique two-tone President bracelet.

These were special high-jewelry, made-to-order or VIP pieces produced from the late 1980s to early 1990s (mostly circa 1989–1991) and were never part of standard production. As a result, very few examples have ever appeared on the open market.

This particular 18349 is definitely a collector’s piece, featuring a factory pavé diamond dial with 2 rubies and a diamond set bezel. Consigned by a Hong Kong based collector family after 30 years of careful ownership, the watch remains in exceptional condition, retaining its original green factory caseback sticker. It is accompanied by a Rolex Hong Kong service receipt dated April 2026.
