ROLEX REF. 18389 (TRIDOR MODEL) DAY-DATE WHITE & YELLOW GOLD Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Day-Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified", Case No. E2152233, Ref. 18389/18000. Made in 1991. Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K white and yellow gold, diamond wristwatch with day, date and a Rolex Tridor bracelet with deployant clasp.

Three-body, polished and brushed, screw-down case back and crown, diamond-set lugs and bezel, white gold case, sapphire crystal with cyclops lens. Salmon with applied diamond indexes, luminous dots, outer minute/seconds track, apertures for the date and for the day of the week. Luminous yellow gold baton hands. Cal. 3055, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 27 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions temperature, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring.

Featuring diamond set lugs, diamond bezel and diamond indexes, ROLEX TRIDOR models were always hugely expensive and made in relatively low numbers. In fact it is only the second 18389 model to appear on the market and the first to appear at Antiquorum.
