Notes

Rolex, Ref. 1862

The Rolex “Prince” reference 1862 was launched in the late-1920’s and was destined for doctors. Featured a subsidiary second register below the hours and minutes section of the dial, the model enabled a doctor to time pulses and respiration. Fitted with a chronometer movement, it allowed a very high precision for the period. The case, recognizable among all of them, is so-called “Brancard”, due to its rectangular curved shape.
