Notes

Purchased new by the family of the consignor in Geneva in the 1920's, this is without a doubt the most attractive combination possible with a striking yellow gold case and contrasting black sector dial. Kept in a deposit box, it has seen little use as one can notice from the quality of the black dial that has been kept in mint condition showing no discoloration or flaking. The case itself shows sharp angles and still exhibits 2 hallmarks on the bow still clearly present. Very few examples have ever appeared on the market in the last 30 years and to the best of our knowledge is the only one so far featuring this combination. One of the best Rolex pocket watches ever to have appeared on the market.
