Notes
Rolex, Ref. 2811
This reference seems to have been produced in only 500 examples between 1937 and the early 1940s. It is one of the rarest early Rolex chronographs.
It is very similar in size and design to the Patek Philippe Ref. 530; it has a flat bezel, olive-shaped or rectangular push-pieces, and very often has beautiful multi-scale dials with sometimes blue inscriptions.
